Well look what we have here. Way back in 2015, 21 Savage first previewed a song with Metro Boomin on his Instagram page called “Pause,” which many people thought at the time would see life on their collaborative tape Savage Mode, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. So while the song has been pretty much an after thought ever since and presumed to be lost in the archives, WSHH comes through today and resurfaces the record in its entirety for our listening pleasure.

Going in over the Metro Boomin production, 21 Savage delivers a mean ass street record that finds him rapping about robbin’ back in the day, getting paper, and having shooters by his side. It’s pretty much your stereotypical 21 record to say the least, and that’s not a bad thing.

Stream 21 Savage – Pause Below!!

21 Savage comes through with a lost version of his Issa album cut titled Whole Lot which actually featured Young Thug. We had seen Roy Woods do his own version of the song so it’s no surprise that this version sprung out.

21 recently discussed the success of his Post Malone collaboration “rockstar,” working with Childish Gambino, new music and his a dream to get into the studio with Rihanna and Beyonce.

The rapper didn’t forget about working with Post Malone on the track. “I love him. That’s my brother…We weren’t in the studio when we made [‘rockstar’]. I was on tour, so I just did it on tour. But we’re on tour together now, it’s going great. Everything’s sold out.”

The rapper also talks about being a part of Childish Gambino’s huge new song “This Is America,” telling Billboard, “Me and Childish just sat in the studio for like six hours and just talked the whole night, really. We made a song and I did some ad libs on that song, but we were really just talking the whole time. He a cool dude, and he from my city, so same side of town.”

21 Savage also hinted at new music of his own, revealing that he is currently in the studio with Pharrell making hits. As for when it will be released, he says that is “to be announced.”

He also opens up about wanting to one day collaborate with Rihanna and Beyonce, stating, “I’m just a big fan. That’d be a dream come true to work with Beyonce or Rihanna…I already did something with Nicki, Cardi, so now it’s just Beyonce and Rihanna and I’ll be good.”
